Ackley also grew up in Vermont, coincidentally he happens to be chauncey's older brother.
Ackley went a less artsy fartsy route, despite being a lot more artistically inclined than
Chauncey. Ackley decided to go for electrical engineering, the idea that that shit is wicked
fucking hard did not scare him. And so after high school Ackley headed off to Renselear
polytechnic Institute, in Troy, NY, the asshole of America. Soon enough he was the fuck out of there with a drinking problem and a degree, and now he's working on lasers and shit.
